Mr. Lacy's DC US History

The goal of this class is to encourage every student to develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of the events and eras that made this country the wonderful place it is today. We will abide by the standards provided by the state of Tennessee and treat each topic with respect. 

 

Throughout the 2023 - 2024 school year, I will be teaching Dual Credit US History, Tennessee History, and Bible History. 

 

For DC US History, we will be covering the history of the United States from the Civil War to modern America. The term, "Dual Credit", means this class offers a challenge exam which provides students with the opportunity to gain college credit in the state of Tennessee. Please understand, you do not have to pass the Dual Credit challenge exam to pass the class at LA. The students' regular class grades will decide if the student successfully passes the course for credit at Livingston Academy. In other words, this class still uses the district's grading scale.
