This month, the Livingston Academy Beta Club sponsored the annual Angel Tree program, allowing interested students, faculty, and staff to "adopt" a local child and give them the Christmas joy they deserve. Thanks to club members (pictured wrapping the gifts), volunteers, and Miss Heidi Riggsbee, over two dozen children were blessed with holiday cheer.
"Miss Riggsbee does an amazing job with our Beta Club," co-sponsor Mr. Jacob Tibbs said. "She asks a lot of members, but they always deliver." He added, "As for myself, it never ceases to amaze me just how many people at Livingston Academy want to help with the Angel Tree. This is the third or fourth year I've helped with this program, and somehow more people seem interested every time. I had to turn away at least ten potential gifters simply because we had no more children registered for adoption."
