Today, LA student government members demonstrated exceptional leadership when they conducted a fundraiser for a peer whose parent recently passed away. Several hundred dollars were raised thanks to the generosity of our students, faculty, and staff. We are so thankful to be a part of a caring community!

Livingston Academy's student body congregated in celebration of senior Pilot Bowman this morning, spectating as he signed with Columbia, Kentucky's Lindsey Wilson University. Pilot will be joining the Blue Raiders' archery program following great success with TAC, ASA, TSO, and S3DA. Congratulations, Pilot!

Transfer students entering the Overton County school system for the 2026-27 school year are invited to our registration day on July 14. Attendees are asked to bring birth certificates, social security cards, proof of residency, proof of physical examinations, shot records on a Tennessee state form, legal paperwork, and academic transcripts. Again, this event is for transfer students only.

This is tryout is for in9-12 grades and up and coming 8th graders.
Tonight, the Livingston Academy Beta Club hosted their annual induction ceremony. Returning members and loved ones looked on as eighteen inductees joined this prestigious academic service organization. Thank you to everyone for attending and to all those that coordinated this special event.


This is a reminder that all juniors will be taking the ACT on Thursday, March 26 at Livingston Academy. Please remind your junior to bring their charged computer, a charger, and their school-issued calculator if they have one. Students need to be at school at 7:30 am.

Congratulations to LA senior Bailey Hutchison on breaking the Wildcat softball home run record last night, hitting the twenty-first of her high school career! Upon graduation, Bailey will be joining the Motlow State softball program.

Congratulations to LA junior Emerson Goodpasture, who has been selected to participate in the 2026 Washington Youth Tour sponsored by the Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation. She is one of five essay winners that will partake in a six-day all-expense paid trip to represent the electric cooperative in our nation's capital this summer. Youth tour winners can then compete for scholarships in addition to a spot on the National Youth Leadership Council. Again, congratulations to Emerson for receiving this honor!

Livingston Academy is currently accepting donations of gently used formal attire for both girls and boys. These may be dropped off any time during the school day from now until prom.

The Livingston Academy Beta Club will be conducting its annual induction ceremony on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00 PM. Families of new members are invited to spectate this special occasion, as club officers deliver formal remarks and pledges are officially made.

Livingston Academy's guidance counselors will be hosting an information session for Overton County eighth graders and their families on Tuesday, March 24. The meeting will take place in the LA gymnasium. Topics covered will include the transition to high school, courses offered, and the registration process. We hope to see you there!
