Livingston Academy faculty and staff have been hard at work prepping for the upcoming school year and we can't wait to get started! Livingston Academy will be hosting a pair of information sessions regarding the athletic programs and all athletes and their parents/guardians are asked to attend ONE of the two dates. The first session will take place on August 10 and the second on August 13; both will be at 6:30 PM in the LA mini-theater. Again, athletes and their parents/guardians are asked to only attend ONE of these meetings.
In recognition of fifty years at our current location on Melvin Johnson Drive, Livingston Academy will be hosting a special semi-centennial celebration on August 6. All former athletes that played sports on this campus are invited to come and sign the old rubber gym floor before it's covered, a time capsule to everyone that has given their all for LA. LA, high school girls' soccer tryouts are Thursday, May 21st from 4pm - 6pm at the LA soccer field on campus. This tryout is for ALL rising 9th thru 12th graders and students must have a current physical to participate.
The online registration portal for the 2026-27 school year is open through the end of May and can be accessed at https://www.oc-sd.com/o/ocs/page/online-registration.
Due to conflicting scheduling, this year's softball tryouts have been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 20 and will take place from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
Yearbooks will be distributed on Wednesday afternoon, May 6. No cash sales will be accepted at school. All sales must go through www.jhacompany.com and can then be picked up at LA. The website inventory updates in real-time, so purchases will not be accepted once stock is depleted.
So that our faculty, staff, and students have the opportunity to attend the funeral of one of our own, Mr. Joey Williams, Overton County schools will dismiss at 1 PM on Monday. Buses will run. There will be no afterschool.
Livingston Academy is proud to host the District Championship baseball game today at 12:00 noon. Our team will face Cumberland County, and we invite everyone to come out and support our student‑athletes.

Overton County Schools is adding an extra layer of security to protect your child’s information. Beginning this spring, all FinalForms accounts will use multi factor authentication (MFA). This means that after entering your password, you’ll also enter a quick verification code sent to your email or phone. It’s a simple step that helps keep student data safe.
The 2026–2027 FinalForms platform will open on April 15, 2026. Families can begin updating student information, completing annual forms, and signing required documents at that time. Most information will automatically carry over from last year, so the process should be quick and easy.
