Congratulations to Troy Childers for winning Life Church's Kick for Cash event at Friday's football game! For hitting a twenty-five yard field goal, Troy received $400! Pictured with Troy is athletic director Todd Wright.

Project Graduation is hosting a meeting tomorrow night about the upcoming haunted house fundraiser. It will take place at 7:00 in the LA cafeteria.

Homecoming week continues at Livingston Academy! Yesterday's events saw the Juniors defeat the Sophomores in girls' basketball, while the Senior boys managed to hold on by a single point in a heart-pounder against the Freshmen. It's a treat to see our students making memories and having the time of their lives.

Day one of Livingston Academy’s 2025 Homecoming kicked off in rockin’ fashion, with students repping their best band shirts and the first round of the annual class basketball tournament. In the girls game, the Seniors edged out a win over the Freshmen in a sudden-death overtime, while the Boys game saw the Juniors hold off the Sophomores. Thanks to an electric student body, today’s events were unforgettable!

Homecoming 2025 is here! This year's festivities were kicked off Friday with a schoolwide pep rally, wherein students competed in hamster-ball races and a dramatic battle for the loudest Hogeye chant (see who won in the video at https://shorturl.at/18dLW).

Thank you to the Overton County Arts Council for visiting Livingston Academy last Friday! Students were treated to a live painting demonstration from artist (and firefighter) Matt Maynard, whose inspiring message encouraged students to pursue their dreams and accomplish their goals.

Livingston Academy's student government officers administered today's "Hats for Hughes" event. Students, faculty, and staff could sport a cap after donating to a fund for student Wyatt Hughes, who was recently injured in an automobile accident. We are so proud of our students for showing compassion for others, and look forward to tomorrow's second "Hats for Hughes" day.

As part of Mr. Chase Looper's Sophomore English class, students were asked to write a letter to someone they admire. Carson Smith chose to contact superstar fisherman Bill Dance, who responded with the attached message. Thank you Mr. Looper for mentoring our students and thank you Mr. Dance for sending this!

Two Livingston Academy students have officially joined the Overton County School Board as student representatives: Senior Class President Brooklyn Loftis and Senior Class Vice President Bragan Choate. Congratulations to them both!

Congratulations to all of our August attendance winners, and thanks to Life Church for donating the gift cards!

Our annual Homecoming Dance is only eleven days away! Be sure to grab your tickets, sold at school for $20.

With our Homecoming Dance just a few weeks away, we are currently accepting donations of formal attire, including dresses, suits, and sports coats. These may be dropped off in the LA office at any time during the school day.
