In preparation for the upcoming school year, Livingston Academy teachers have compiled a school supply checklist for the classes below. Students will need these material if enrolled in these courses.
English I (Freshmen) with Childers:
Binder, red pen, black pen, blue pen, pencils, loose-leaf paper, and college ruled notebook
English I (Freshmen) with Hammons:
Binder, loose-leaf college ruled paper, dividers, composition journal, red pens, and black pens
English II: (Sophomores):
1 ½ inch binder, composition notebook, 5 dividers, 5 highlighters (yellow, blue, green, pink or purple), red pens, black or blue pens, green pens
Additional for English II Honors: 2 portfolio folders with fasteners/prongs, and 2 single subject notebooks
Spanish: composition notebook
Algebra I (Freshmen):
Composition notebook, loose-leaf paper, and binder
Algebra II (Juniors):
5 subject spiral notebook, paper folder, loose-leaf paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, and coloring pencils
Biology (Freshmen):
2-inch binder, spiral notebook, and pencils or pens
Chemistry and Chemistry II:
2-inch binder, loose-leaf paper, spiral notebook, page dividers with pockets, and pencils
US History: (Juniors)
Binder, paper, and pencils
AP US/World History: Three Ring Binder
Band/Music:
2 1 ½ inch binders
LA, high school girls' soccer tryouts are Thursday, May 21st from 4pm - 6pm at the LA soccer field on campus. This tryout is for ALL rising 9th thru 12th graders and students must have a current physical to participate.
The online registration portal for the 2026-27 school year is open through the end of May and can be accessed at https://www.oc-sd.com/o/ocs/page/online-registration.
Due to conflicting scheduling, this year's softball tryouts have been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 20 and will take place from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
Yearbooks will be distributed on Wednesday afternoon, May 6. No cash sales will be accepted at school. All sales must go through www.jhacompany.com and can then be picked up at LA. The website inventory updates in real-time, so purchases will not be accepted once stock is depleted.
So that our faculty, staff, and students have the opportunity to attend the funeral of one of our own, Mr. Joey Williams, Overton County schools will dismiss at 1 PM on Monday. Buses will run. There will be no afterschool.
Livingston Academy is proud to host the District Championship baseball game today at 12:00 noon. Our team will face Cumberland County, and we invite everyone to come out and support our student‑athletes.

Overton County Schools is adding an extra layer of security to protect your child’s information. Beginning this spring, all FinalForms accounts will use multi factor authentication (MFA). This means that after entering your password, you’ll also enter a quick verification code sent to your email or phone. It’s a simple step that helps keep student data safe.
The 2026–2027 FinalForms platform will open on April 15, 2026. Families can begin updating student information, completing annual forms, and signing required documents at that time. Most information will automatically carry over from last year, so the process should be quick and easy.

Today, LA student government members demonstrated exceptional leadership when they conducted a fundraiser for a peer whose parent recently passed away. Several hundred dollars were raised thanks to the generosity of our students, faculty, and staff. We are so thankful to be a part of a caring community!
Livingston Academy's student body congregated in celebration of senior Pilot Bowman this morning, spectating as he signed with Columbia, Kentucky's Lindsey Wilson University. Pilot will be joining the Blue Raiders' archery program following great success with TAC, ASA, TSO, and S3DA. Congratulations, Pilot!

Transfer students entering the Overton County school system for the 2026-27 school year are invited to our registration day on July 14. Attendees are asked to bring birth certificates, social security cards, proof of residency, proof of physical examinations, shot records on a Tennessee state form, legal paperwork, and academic transcripts. Again, this event is for transfer students only.

Tonight, the Livingston Academy Beta Club hosted their annual induction ceremony. Returning members and loved ones looked on as eighteen inductees joined this prestigious academic service organization. Thank you to everyone for attending and to all those that coordinated this special event.
